Our Board Members

Angel Sedgwick
The grandson of Paula and Cabot Sedgwick. He was born in the UK, educated in Europe and speaks English, French and Spanish. Angel served in the British Army and after a number of mostly hot and sandy adventures retired in 2022 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is a proud dad of two little Sedgwicks and divides his time between their home in Southern California and his home on the Santa Fe Ranch. Angel believes strongly in the programs the foundation delivers and the importance of improving the lives of people in our community, on both sides of the border.

Susana Sedgwick
The daughter of Paula and Cabot Sedgwick, in whose memory the ranch Foundation was established. She is a freelance writer and filmmaker.
Susana lives between Tucson, Arizona and New York City. Her written work is in the archives of the New York Public Library as well as in
Special Collections at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
In 2022 Susana was given a Grant from the U of A to write a series of interviews across perspectives of residents on the US Mexico border between Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora. It was a memorable experience to work on Ambos Lados.
Susana is very grateful to be on the board of the Santa Fe Ranch.
She hopes to continue to contribute to the beneficial work the Foundation encourages, supporting local communities and cross border exchanges.

Pauly Sedgwick
The youngest child of Samuel Sedgwick and grandchild of Cabot and Paula Sedgwick. She grew up on the Santa Fe Ranch for the majority of her youngster years and returned about 9 years ago. She has an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Science from Pima Community College as well as multiple certifications in Dental Assisting and Yoga. She is currently studying to be an Ayurvedic Practitioner, which is the Indian study of medicine and life. She stepped into her latest role as an entrepreneur in the last 5 years and started a pet product business with her partner, she teaches yoga, hosts wellness retreats, and makes jewelry and art. She has an adoration and deep love for animals that teeters on unhealthy obsession. She is blessed and grateful to have grown in such an environment at the ranch, around animals, nature, around such tremendous people. This has nurtured her intense passion for the ranch and its success and preservation. One of her main focal points in life is ensuring the dynamic between civilization and nature remains balanced, she applies this to being a board member and always remembers that nature will prevail over all, therefore we must be in sync and harmony with her.

John Anthony Sedgwick
John Anthony Sedgwick, Tony as he is universally known except to bill collectors, was born in Bilbao, Spain December 12, 1950, where his father, Cabot Sedgwick, was serving as US Consul. He obtained his most recent degree at 70, an MFA from Bay Path University.
His work experience is as varied as his education. At different times he has worked as a short order cook, a University lecturer, an investigator for the Consumer Protection Division for the State of Arizona, a lawyer in Nogales, and as an international lawyer headquartered outside of New York City.
Over the past two decades, Tony has dedicated himself to giving back to Nogales, Arizona, helping to establish more than twenty-five non-profit organizations in the region and serving as Executive Director and, more recently, as Chair of the Board of the Santa Fe Ranch Foundation, which he founded in the memory of his parents, Paula and Cabot Sedgwick.

Ron Fish
Ronald Fish came to the Santa Fe Ranch in 1978 and was the Ranch Manager until 2013. During his 35-year tenure, he had a wonderful relationship with the Sedgwick Family. Beginning with Cabot and Paula, he helped to implement many conservation projects and greatly advance the ranch infrastructure. He had a close friendship with Cabot and together they developed a wonderful herd of commercial cattle. After Cabot passed, Ron continued to have a deep friendship with Tony Sedgwick as they led the creation of the Paula and Cabot Sedgwick Family Foundation. Many of the projects and infrastructure remain as a testimony to his work. Ron continues to serve on the Foundation Board and provide guidance to the next generation.
